Sales Training & Coaching › Objection Handling Library
Every objection I've collected from real sales calls, organized into twelve families. Each one has the reframe — the thinking behind the response — two scripts you can say out loud today, and a power move. It's free, there's no signup, and every card copies to your clipboard in one tap.
Showing all 201 objections
How to actually use this. Do not read it front to back. Pick the one family you lose deals to most, open five objections, and say the scripts out loud — reading them silently produces recognition, not recall, and recognition is useless at 2pm when a buyer catches you off guard. Then rewrite them in your own words with your product in them. Five a day for a month covers the whole library and permanently changes how you sound under pressure.
The reframe matters more than the script. The script is one expression of the thinking; the reframe is the thinking. Learn the reframe and you can improvise a response to an objection that isn't in here at all, which is the actual goal. There are hundreds of objections and only about twelve underlying reasons for all of them.
If you want the psychology underneath why these work — buying as conditioning, the five buyer self-interests, and the ethical standard that decides when you should stop persuading — that's the Do The Right Thing Sales Perfect Training Course. If you want this built specifically around your product and your buyer's actual words, that's what a sales training package produces in the first week.
Almost never about available money. A price objection means the buyer has not connected the cost to an outcome they care about. Your job is to move the comparison, not lower the number.

Delay is a decision with a cost. The move is always the same: find out what will actually be different later, and if the answer is nothing, name that gently.

Try fewer words, or clear the filter and browse by family. If a buyer said something that isn't in here, I want to know — send it to me and I'll write the response and add it.
Eye To Ad Media builds the SEO, AIO, and GEO visibility that turns cold calls into warm ones. Denver-built, running since 2012.
Every card in this library follows the same structure, because structure is what lets a nervous person perform under pressure. If you learn nothing else here, learn this sequence.
Notice what's missing: arguing. When you answer a stated objection with an argument, you win the argument and lose the sale. When you answer it with a question, you find the real objection underneath — and the real one is almost always easier to solve than the one they said out loud.
Every term used on this page is defined in the sales training glossary, and the underlying framework is laid out in full on the sales training and coaching home page.
This library is general on purpose — it has to work for a contractor and a software rep. What closes deals is the version built from recordings of your calls, in your buyer's vocabulary, drilled with your team until it's automatic. That's the first deliverable of every engagement.
